Cebu Pacific has been ranked highly in the Airlineratings.com annual Top Twenty Safest Low-Cost Airlines for 2024.

AirlineRatings.com Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas congratulated Cebu Pacific on the achievement saying: "Cebu Pacific has become a standout operation with a focus on operational safety, delivering low-cost travel to tens of millions and the latest Airbus aircraft,"

“Cebu Pacific has become a major part of the fabric of life in the Philippines bringing affordable travel to most,” Mr Thomas said.

Cebu Pacific commenced services in March 1996, initially only domestic operations but launched international operations in November 2001.

It now flies to 64 tourist and business destinations within Asia and operates 84 Airbus aircraft.

Cebu was the first local airline to introduce e-ticketing, prepaid excess baggage, and seat selection in the Philippines.

It now has a fleet of A320 family aircraft plus the larger A330s and new A330-900s. When all the A330-900s are delivered the airline will have 16. Cebu Pacific has 37 aircraft on order including the A321XLR which will give the airline extra range in the 240-seat segment of the market to open up more destinations.

"The A330-900s and A321XLRs will open up a huge range of possibilities for Cebu Pacific," Mr Thomas said.

Within each airline, you will find the country of origin, airline code, booking URL and seat map information. The rating system takes into account a number of different factors related to audits from aviation’s governing bodies, lead associations as well as the airline’s own safety data. Every airline has a safety rating breakdown so you can see exactly how they rate.

Over 230 of the airlines on the site that carry 99 per cent of the world’s passengers have a product rating. Given that low-cost, regional and full-service carriers are so different we have constructed a different rating system for each which can be found within each airline
