Air Niugini 737 undershoots runway and ends up in the ocean

An Air Niugini Boeing 737 has crashed into the ocean short of the runway in Micronesia and sunk. The 737 was approaching runway 04 in heavy rain when it hit the water short of the runway. Flight PX073 was operating from Pohnpei in Micronesia and was due to continue to Port Moresby. The aircraft registered P2-PXE and was delivered 13 years ago.
