TransNusa relaunched as a low-cost operator flying COMAC ARJ21 and Airbus A320 aircraft on Indonesian domestic and short regional routes. Aircraft are new and meals and drinks are included, which is unusual in this category. The product is otherwise very simple, with paid extras and no seatback entertainment. The ARJ21 has a smaller and noisier cabin than the A320s.
