Southwest Airlines is a US low-cost carrier with an all-Boeing 737 fleet in a single economy cabin, flying across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are served on most flights, and free movies, TV and live TV stream to a personal device. Wi-Fi is free for Rapid Rewards members, with Starlink rolling out across the fleet. There are no seatback screens and alcoholic drinks are charged. Assigned seating and checked bag fees arrived in 2025, so it is worth checking what the fare includes. It offers more onboard than the old perception of a basic US low-cost carrier suggests.
