HK Express is the Cathay Group low-cost arm and won World's Best Low-Cost Carrier in the 2026 Airline Ratings awards. The onboard menu is the standout, offering Hong Kong street food alongside international dishes, and cabin crew are consistently excellent. It flies Airbus A320 family aircraft on short routes across Asia, with clean cabins, tight seat pitch and paid extras. There is no Wi-Fi and no inflight entertainment, which is what holds the rating.
