I always fly with Malaysia and generally it pretty good. The inflight experience is the highlight with MH, staff are normally friendly and attentive. I always fly Business class because of the space, food and wine. However I am very disappointed with the decision to cut alcohol in shorter flights, the type of flight you take around Asia. In my mind the removal of wine and alcohol really undermines the Business Class service. Not only has it really pissed off the customers, it has also forced the staff lose face because they are on the front line of implementing such an unpopular change. It is really mean and ugly, I can only imaging some back room accountant coming up with this idea...how about cutting them and focusing on your customers. In a service business it is number one to listen to your customers, particularly the higher paying premium customers, if you don't do this then you will be in for a hard road ahead. MH....please re think this, its a stupid, poorly thought out move.
