I recently flew Emirates Airline but was totally disappointed with the overall service in Economy class. I am sure they may be a better choice for First or Business class but if you are travelling economy, I may think twice. My family and I have finally decided to strike them off the list of good carriers. Be very careful when it comes to baggage policy is extremely greedy. They even check your baggage weight while you are about to board the flight and make it extremely painful for an excited or travel exhausted customer. They are ruthless when it comes to deal with customers with baggage. Food in economy class is at times stale and often tasteless. The room for each seat in the economy class is no less than a crammed local train with so less space between seats. If they take out one column of seat I am sure it will let people breath. Booking policies are way too strict. DO NOT FORGET to read between lines when it comes to making any change. Over all I would rate Emirates as lower B class flights if not C. I would certainly downgrade it 3.5/10 (10 being the best).
