JetStar cancelled flight VF 281 to KNO on Jan 16, 2014 claiming it's unsafe due to volcanic activity (depart: 1040a SGT). In the mean time, SilkAir landed 2 flights on the same day (depart: 730a, 12p SGT) without any problems. There have been rumours that it's common for JetStar to cancel flights due low passenger load, I'm starting to believe it.
