Economy Class

My 9 year old daughter became airsick while in-flight and began to vomit. After looking around for some kind of containment device and found nothing, the only thing that could be done was try to catch the vomit by hand. Not only were we surrounded by smelly stinky vomit because there was no vomit bag to be found anywhere around, the only thing the airline attendant did (while my daughter was in mid process of vomiting) was to offer small cup of tonic water. People were sitting all around us holding their noses trying not to vomit themselves. Vomit was all over the place and nothing to contain it with. Not until I ran up to the service station and asked for napkins and some kind of waste bag, did we actually get any sort of assistance from the staff. And that assistance came in the form of handing me a bag and paper towels from the restroom. Oh yes, one of them asked if my daughter was sick, as if to imply that this may have been our fault for bringing a sick child on board. When I responded why there are no vomit bags on the plane, she responded "We usually don't have them back there and there too small anyway". By the way, this happened towards the beginning of 3.5 hr flight
