Arik Air review by So 2014-01-10

I flew an Arik 737-700 from Lagos to Benin City in August 2013. The departure from Lagos was pretty routine, flight was on-time and a snack with a beverage was served for the 35 minute flight. The return to Lagos was more dramatic, the morning flight was cancelled without any explanation (the airline blamed the weather!). All passengers were grouped into the evening flight over 8 hours later. The problem in Nigeria is that there is very little alternative in flying, it's either Arik or Aero Contractors so delays, cancellations and disorganization are just part of the travel process.
