Economy Class

My wife & I were to fly to Osaka to join a cruise in 2011 but the earthquake & tsunami forced a change of plan so that the cruise started in Hong Kong. The airline demanded a fee of over $100 each to change the booking (reimbursed by the cruise line), but refused a refund for the much lesser value of the airfare, about $300 total. The excuse given was that refunds only applied for flights both into & out of Japan. For this reason, we shall not fly with this company again.
