I have been in US for three years and flew with UA many times since moving here. I have travelled with many other airlines and UA is by far the worst out of them. I have never experienced so much pain for being a customer to any other company. Around half of my flights (I have flown with them around 24 times) have delays. A lot of delays I have experienced seems completely predictable and avoidable. They are too aggressive at scheduling flights and crews, making it such that any variance would throw the entire system into jeopardy. For example, during my most recent flight, it was delayed by an hour due to rain and the crew was overworked because of that and had to arrange an emergency landing at another nearby airport. Then I had to wait two hours for them to arrange a coach bus to drive me to the destination. Altogether, my 1.5 hour flight turned into a 7 hour journey.
