China Southern review by Ross 2015-11-01

I flew Business class from Brisbane (Australia) to London via Guangzhou and return. My initial experience of trying to use the website to book my meal and hotel was very poor. I was unable to get through the ID section and contacting Customer Service was no help at all. After trying several times to get through I finally did and given incorrect info. My expectations were therefore low but once I boarded my experience was quite good. The cabin crew were friendly but could do with some better training in the English language. The food in Business Class was average compared to other airlines but still ok and the in flight entertainment could do with a bit more variety but was better than I expected. The airport in Guangzhou is huge and luckily I was personally escorted through it by a friendly staff member. I had a 16 hr layover and was taken to a hotel and picked up the next morning, however left to my own devices when had to check in to my next flight but still managed easily enough. Having a flat bed to sleep on is really what is important to me and was happy with the comfort. If you want to experience Business class without breaking the bank then I recommend this airline.
