Air New Zealand review by Jan 2016-10-18

I bought a ticket for 6 flights from United Airlines and its partners. I had enjoyed a flight with Qantas and 4 flights with United Airlines where food/ meals/ drinks were provided free. Then as part of this ticket's air travel, I was put on an Air NZ flight AKL to BNE. Air NZ only offered water, tea or coffee for this 3.5h flight - food, meal and drinks were extra cost. The number air hostesses was inadequate for number of passengers. I don't understand why UA use a stingy Star Alliance partner, especially when UA say they put the customer first! I will NOT buy any ticket where Air NZ is involved. EDITORS COMMENT: Qantas, united and ANZ are not all aligned so im not sure how you ended up on that combination but regardless of this, ANZ have different service options in economy to cater for all budgets. You were clearly on the cheapest and really should have been given the option to upgrade to the works which includes everything like Qantas. We suggest taking this up with your travel provider as the option should be yours.
