Vietnam Airlines review by Phil 2013-11-18

I flew on a 330 from Melbourne to HCMC on 30/10/2013. Flight was comfortable enough. My only real complaints were warm beer and that they used duct tape in the toilets to keep small cabinet doors closed. I then flew on a 777 on the 16/11/2013 from Hanoi to HCMC. The flight was delayed and the food was shocking. A bun with salami and some white sauce, and a dessert that was truly awful. Most people on the plane ate neither. Then I flew back to Melbourne on a 330 again. This time the toilet door lock was broken and it was opened with a piece of wire. Food was much better but the Asian breakfast of pork and noodles was served cold. Not much positive about this airline except that it is the only direct flight from Melbourne to Saigon.
