Last Sunday we were scheduled to depart Atlanta for a return trip to our home in Washington DC at 11:15 am. Right away they announced a 1 hour delay. Throughout the day they continued delaying the takeoff. (As well as randomly switching gates???) Finally, after 3:00 they cancelled the flight altogether. Customer service people were ignorant, rude and difficult to deal with, and completely unapologetic. They truly did not care one bit about anyone's inconvenience. They wanted us to stay in an airport hotel overnight and fly out at 11 the next day. They acted like that was doing us a huge favor. (I checked and that flight was delayed as well!) At the ticket counter, they supposedly processed a refund, but it has not shown up in my account. I was forced to pay $1200 for my son and I to take a last minute Delta flight. Will never risk flying Frontier again. Apparently, they make no promises to actually get you to your destination. And they really don't care if they do or not. EDITORS COMMENT: What an awful and long delay! The refund will come but it takes up to 12 weeks which is just wrong but how the industry works. Just for the record no airline ever promises to get you to your destination or get you there on time.
