I recently travelled from Perth to Paris. I've used Singapore Airlines several times in the past, but on this occasion was very disappointed. The meals on both the Perth/Singapore and Singapore/Paris were really poor quality and incredibly salty. The 777 on the Perth leg seemed to have seen better days; the headphones didn't work and the entertainment system was very out-of-date and we were not able to start one movie from the beginning (I travelled recently from Perth/Sydney with Qantas and their touch screen system is really great). Qantas seemed to lose the plot for a while, but they seem to have lifted their game, with both their food and their service. On both the Singapore Airlines flights, some of the staff were not really interested. The food and the service on Perth/Delhi flights with SQ last year were both very good (the Perth/Singapore leg only). We travelled on the A380 through to Paris this time. The seats are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. I'll be going back to Qantas if my flight home from London/Perth has not improved.
