I have flown with SAS Scandinavian Airlines more than I have any other airline (93 flights in my 21 years, to be exact), and I have only once experienced a cancelled flight, flying from Dublin to Oslo in October 2012. They are often delayed by 20 minutes or half an hour, but having been on hundreds of flights, I know that is to be expected from any airline. Their fares aren't ridiculously expensive, and it's a big plus that you can choose your seat for free from 24 hours before departure. Free beverages and snacks on airlines are not common at all in Scandinavia, though I wish it was. I have never had any big problems with SAS, and so I don't really know much about the quality of their customer service, except one of the most recent times I flew with them - I went to baggage claim to find my suitcase damaged, but I got a receipt from customer service straight away and was told to go to a specific store and I would get a new suitcase for free. SAS isn't perfect, but they will get you where you're going!
