We flew with JS to Bali and the flight was acceptable. On time and all good. Flying home however our flight was firstly delayed by about 6 hours and the cancelled. After much stuffing about we were herded onto busses and farmed out to various 2/3 star resorts around Kuta. We were in a resort with about 20 other JS people waiting to see what happens next. Nothing. No one was contacted by JS. we sat and waited, eventually we were told be ready to leave hotel at 7 tomorrow for 10 oclock flight. All this information was comming through the hotel, still nothing from JS. Turns out the 10 oclock flight was all lies, we heard this through the other guests, some were flying back to perth via Cairns, Brisbane, Melbourne. Basically it seems when JS cancel a flight you need to rebook a flight as best you can, no help will be comming from them. We ended up booking Air Asia and forking out $1200 to get back. I will never fly JS again. P.S. Still have not been contacted by JS as of today, for all they know I could be still sitting in Bali waiting for information. Very dissappointing service. EDITORS COMMENT: This is a probelm with airlines that aren't based in a particular country. if there is a delay for staffing or aircraft issues it take s along time to get a replacement and get all the passengers re distributed over other flights. Glad you were at least given accommodation not left to stay at the airport.
