I flew Vietnam Airlines from Singapore to Hanoi. Although the flight was expensive, the service was courteous and friendly and the food excellent. My only real complaint was that there was no soap in the dispenser in the toilet. I also flew with them twice in Vietnam and the food was a snack and far less good. The service was quite good.
