Part 1 - Flying Brisbane Singapore Munich / Amsterdam Singapore Brisbane on A300-B777-A350-A300. The most disappointed part about the trip was the Business Class seats on the B777 and the A350. If you slightly recline the seats your legs are up against the seat in front of you and you are unable to stretch them. There is this rediculous design that you can sit sideways in your seat and put your legs up on the bench that forms part of your bed. The seats are so wide that you can't get arm support on both sides. You either have to lean to the right or the left. When they convert the seat into a bed the seatback is dropped down to form a flat surface. However you can't stretch out. You have to put your legs into a space to the side which means you have to sleep at an angle with your legs bent. If you want to sit up at some stage the bed has to be reconfigured into a seat with the help of a flight attendant. At least on Qantas, Cathay, American and Emirates your seat can be adjusted at any angle between upright and flat. There were no amenity packs as on Qantas. You were handed a pair of slippers, socks and mask but no toiletries although they were available in the toilets.
