Economy Class

I am a regular flyer with Virgin Aus, my husband is a gold member so we fly Virgin or Virgin code share airlines whenever we can (we go overseas around 4 times a year and interstate around 8) one trip we do every where is SYD- LA return. I have always thought the planes, service and entertainment was amazing. But this last trip we have done in April was awful - both flights! Firstly the seats and planes are tiny for a 14 hr flight. They use the same planes with the same entertainment on the Sydney - Perth flight. Which is a little embarrassing... no where near enough room when you compare to the other international airlines. Also the service from the inflight cabin crew is lazy, rude, non caring of the passengers on board. They also supply only tiniest water bottles with no refill station - only 2 jugs for the whole cabin which were rarely filled up. It's a real shame as the international SYD - LAX return flight used to be so good, they have really downgraded and it unfortunately shows. The food has been downgraded too - to those of a budget airline. They also failed to have any incoming passenger cards on board So no one was prepared when we got to immigration.
