12th June 2015, LHR-MNL returning later. Paid very cheaply and overall service was cheap. Meal portion was tiny. In flight was by iPad minis inclusive of price but v limited video selection. Economy was 100% packed. On the plus side it's direct flight lasting less than 14h, and again price was cheap at £517 return. My recommendation: do fly PAL for its direct flight from LHR to MNL but make sure u r not paying too much; don't expect the usual and almost standard Middle East airline luxuries; buy food before flying; prepare ur own entertainments; and remember the reverse idiom - it's not the journey but the destination.
