First Class

Just returned from flight by British Airways (First Class) from Delhi to London. Complained to BA about the following: delay in boarding, tv system not working properly and only having one meal and snack for a 9 1/2 hour flight. Could not even supply cheese and biscuits. Airport Lounge used in Delhi ok but not a great variety of meals on offer.On the flight I expected air staff to offer to turn your seat into bed and dim the lights for the flight. This did not happen and on arrival had to wait 20 mins for luggage and when I asked BA staff at Heathrow just said they could not do anything it was the way the plane was packed in Delhi and continued with their conversation. We were lucky enough to fly with Virgin last year and it was tons better. Wish I had gone with Virgin again. Did complain to BA and had to wait for four days before I got a reply from customer services who basically said will pass your comments on to various departments but no apology. Definitely not worth the money to fly in first class. EDITORS COMMENT: The baggage thing really is out of the airlines control I agree with that but as for the rest of it I too would have expected those services you mention on a first class flight!
