Economy Class

Allegiant was once amazing for abudget airline now, however,Allegiant isanickle and dime operation charging for literally everything (a sentiment shared by many on both of my flights from Vegas to the Midwest). They charged $15 per passenger to select seats, a hefty fee per bag to use the overhead compartment, they charge for soda or juice i flight and for any snack at all. The plane is small MD80 with 5 seats across and a very narrow center aisle; it is more comfortable to "hold it" than to climb over people to use the restroom on a 3 hour flight. There is only this one cabin so extreme economy would be the category if this were a category. Very disappointed and definitely helps to explain their drop in stock. I think the biggesr "rub" was being charged for a non-alcoholic beverage including water. At least they could make their patrons feel like they have value by providing the customary beverage and a bag of peanuts. Very dissatisfied! EDITORS COMMENT: Allegiant are a low cost airline which is why the base ticket is usually very cheap, then you pay for the ad ons. What you have experienced is just traveling on a low cost airline
