For work, I travelled from Canada to Spain quite often on Air Canada. Often there were delays due to weather, which are unavoidable, but there were also many delays due to missed maintenance or other. In one notable case, the in flight entertainment system wasn't working. I didn't have a book with me, so I was forced to spend the 8 or so hours in pleasant conversation with the attractive woman sitting in the seat next to mine. That was serendipitous and I cannot pass credit to Air Canada for this. Many of their employees are pleasant enough, but I get the feeling overall that their job satisfaction is low.
