I've flown about 38 legs with Frontier. I am an Elite member, cross-country and to Cancun with Frontier. I've done red-eye, the longest flights, short flights. Of those legs, only 3 were delayed that I can recall. One was for "maintenance", one because the crew needed 2 hours to rest, I can't recall the other reason. Seats are not very comfortable; longer flights can be an issue. If you are obese, you will hate this airline. Crew have always been awesome; never had a bad experience. Pilots will joke with the passengers and I've only had a few bumpy landings. Life "hack" regarding Frontier: They don't really check the size of your bag. If you board without going to the counter, you can get away with a bag that is 2-3" bigger on any side. They will be in gates sometimes with no ability to check bags. The only time I've had an issue with the desk is one trip back from Seattle where Frontier has no presence; the desk opened two hours before takeoff. Was first in line of ~150 people; the kiosks were broken (this was before mobile ticketing). Kiosks always break down. Desk was evil; had to raise a stink. Make sure to avoid the desk at all costs. Phone CSR is awful too.
