I and my family booked to fly with Lot Airlines from Tel Aviv to Lublin on March 23, 2018. After the flight delayed in one hour we fly on the to Lublin, After 20 min the pilot announced there is a technical problem and we have to come back to Tel Aviv, After landing in Tel Aviv I was asked to leave the plane as I heard the technical people speaking there is a problem with the plane generator, But the station manager Mr. Tal said that there is nothing to worry about and if I leave now then I will not be able to have a refund. He said that fly destination changed from Lublin to Warsaw as its too late and Lublin airport is close, I asked him what would we do with the hotel reservation and the car rental we booked and paid in Lublin, He said Lot team will handle it and if needed, they will fly you back to Israel from Warsaw so no need to rent a car again in Warsaw and the drive to Lublin. I ask if it safe to fly again on the same plane which has a problem and he said there is no problem and it is safe to fly and the technician was signed it is safe, After he convinced us to stay and fly to Warsaw again after 2 hours of waiting in the plane we flew again on the way to Warsaw, 25 min later the pilot announced that the technical problem repeat and we have to come back again to Tel Aviv, We back to Tel Aviv very fast with hard landing we go down finally from the plane and the ongoing nightmare and on the way down to the bus I spoke with one of the technicians who said to me you should say thank you are all alive and it’s the first time since he worked there that he saw plane that returns with technical problem flying again. Lot supervisor told us to go to the counter so they can take care of everyone. Aster 2 hours of waiting with little children arrived Mr. Tal the station manager in Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv and announced that there are 2 options, book a flight for next week or call LOT airlines customer service in Poland and get help, I called customer service in Poland and gave the consultant all information, She asked what I want and I said I want a refund for the flight and solution for the hotel and the car rental I paid for, She said that I can contact my ticket agent and ask for a claim, I asked her what about my hotel and the car rental, She answered that this is the instructions she received and this is only what she can offer. I asked her if this is the way they service customers and she replied that she has no offer to me. I flew so many times in my life and never had so bad experience same as LOT Airlines, I have no idea how a company like this be a part of Star Alliance. The plane is like low cost and the service so bad !!! I will never fly with them again and you will be safer if you do the same !!!
