Do not ever use this airline. I had the most stressful 24 hours of my life dealing with them. Long story short, this September I was in Peru with 3 other people and we had a flight from Lima to Cusco at 2:00 on a Wednesday. We had a Machu Picchu tour booked for the following day that was leaving at 6:30 am. We had a meeting at 7:30 pm that Wednesday night in Cusco at the hostel for our Machu Picchu tour. We knew we would have plenty of time as it's only about an hour flight. We got to the airport about 2 hours early, got on the plane, sat there for about 30 minutes and then were told to get off the plane. We all got off and were told that there's a mechanical failure so we were going to be moved to a different plane. They let about 6 people on that other plane and said it was now full. They said we would now be moved to a different airline, Latam and put on a 5:30 flight. Fine. So we waited in that line for Latam and then were told that that plane was now full and to go wait in the Avianca line again.
