I have flown with SAS quite a lot of times. Not on a regular basis, but when I would need to... A bit sad they've removed in-flight meal on european flights, but 6 euro isn't too bad at all for a meal. The staff is always friendly, especially the pilots! Normally they let me sit in the jumpseat for landing or takeoff, which is a real fun expenrience! The airplanes are partially new, some old 737's but the seats are comfortable, compared to the new ones, and leg room is standard for pretty much every airliner operating the 737. Prices are in-abouts 100-200 higher than its competitor Norwegian, but it's worth is taking in mind how bad Norwegian is with delays, staff experience, etc... Haven't flown any long haul since 2009, but I am looking forward for the new A350's and A330's that will enter service in 2015! EDITORS COMMENT: no one should be allowed in the cockpit during takeoff and landing unless they are air crew....
