Aegean Airlines review by AM 2016-07-27

A new airline for me, adding to the 100 or so I've ridden on over the years. We did an Athens-Santorini-Athens round trip in A321/320. 135 miles each so very short. They were very nice, clean and comfortable seats. No in flight service given the short flight time. Flex fare so no bag charges and no problem with our carry-ons. Return delayed an hour due to the goofy Santorini security. First you wait in a long line to have your checked bag x-rayed while you wait to see if they say you're good to go. Then same deal with your carry-on. They held our flight for people stuck in the lines which we thought was nice. All in all a very nice experience. But they aren't cheap.....three Y class economy tickets (all available when we booked) for 1100 euros.
