Singapore Airlines review by Ben 2015-09-29

Economy Class

Interior design of the aircraft we flew in were not appealing, particularly the A380 which looked old. I flew in an A380 six months ago with Etihad and the aircraft looked fresh and vibrant, which in turn created a much needed amount of positive energy for a long-haul flight. The entertainment system (Krisworld) was patchy at best as there would be a 1-2 second lag every 5minutes making the viewing experience quite frustrating. Every so often, the movie/show you were watching would just switch off and return to the main menu so you had replay the movie and fast forward to where you were up to. I think the airline put more effort into designing the onboard food menu than actually producing quality meals. The curries all tasted the same and was borderline sickening. Staff were friendly enough but some don't enforce the 'seat upright when eating' rule and we had to take matters into our own hands. Disappointed overall for an airline with Singapore Airlines reputation.
