Norwegian Air delayed this flight for several hours and then cancelled. We managed to secure the last 2 flights out with another airline for my 83 year old mum (requiring airport assistance and absolutely exhausted following several hours of waiting), accompanied by one of her grand-daughters to look after her on the flight. The overnight accommodation was a huge hotel involving lots of walking and queuing which mum could not manage. Norwegian Air have refused to refund these flights! I have now looked at several forums and it seems they do this all the time. They cite "extraordinary circumstances" and try to wriggle out of compensation claims. However, the ground crew told us the plane was fixed but the flight was cancelled as the crew did not turn up. The company is inherently dishonest lie to protect themselves, even against the needs of an 83 year old pensioner. Disgraceful. Do not use them, I never will again.
