we travelled from Las Vegas to San Francisco.We booked and paid for this flight two months ahead only to be put on stand by when we arrived at the gate, We were treated with distain when we asked a question, we were the last people to board and heard the pilot offering $400 in compensation to anyone willing to residual there flight, I find this practice of over booking both morally and ethically wrong. It will be a long time before we consider travelling on United Airlines
