Shabby old 767 and a flight for 7 hours with out food (we were offered 3 glasses of water - I guess to keep us alive). How a national carrier like Air New Zealand can do long haul flights without offering food to all as a basic is beyond belief. Avoid this airline - there are much better out there. EDITORS COMMENT: You chose the base ticket 'seat plus bag' that requires you to purchase food on board. If you chose a ticket called 'the works' which is all inclusive then you would have received complimentary food, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The choices are made clear at the time of booking what they are and what they offer.
