Lufthansa review by Thomas 2014-02-10

I was being evacuated out of Ukraine by my employer, due to a death threat against me, and was supposed to fly a Lufthansa CRJ from Kviv to Frankfort, and a 747 from Frankfort to Chicago. The first plane got a flat tire backing away from the gate, and I was put on a UIA plane to Munich instead, then United from Munich to Chicago, with 15 minutes between planes in Munich... I expected my luggage to be delayed, lost, missing, etc Little did I know that Lufthansa had removed my luggage from the CRJ in Kviv, and sent it via Frankfort, Paris, London, and to Chicago, and it arrived in Chicago almost 3 hrs before I did. In Chicago, a Lufthansa employee was waiting with it when I got off the United plane I technically only "flew" Lufthansa about 600 feet, but they still provided me with service FAR beyond what I expected.I'll DEFINITELY give them my business next time !!
