The flights I recently flew on Virgin were usually Perth to Melbourne to Sydney and Perth via Brisbane return I am personally a QANTAS shareholder and I would have preferred to have flown QANTAS to get the points and the shareholders privileges as there are no hidden extras but as these were business trips I had no choice. The QANTAS lounge is far superior to the Virgin lounge in my opinion. I would only recommend people fly Virgin for short haul flights
