I was on a flight from Dublin to JFK on March 15. I was seated in row 33. At the bulk head were several young men who were having a grand old time, drinking, talking, laughing and treating the plane as their local pub. At several times in the flight, the pilot asked people to take their seats because of oncoming turbulence. These young men continued to stand in the aisles and did not sit down. I then went to the back of the plane to speak with the flight attendants because the groups' loud talking was really keeping all of us awake...the flight attendants were eating their dinner and could have cared less that I was being disturbed. I noted that there were liability issues of this group standing when the seat belt sign was lighted, but the attendants could have cared less....they said there was nothing they could do!! Come on, these people were a problem, and if we had hit bad turbulence they would have been tossed around and hurt themselves or others. A bit later I noted one of the attendants partying with the group. At one point the attendants announced that there was no more liquor on the flight...wonder why??? I will not fly aer lingus again.
