Our trip from Heathrow to Oslo on SAS (737-600) gave us our first taste of Norway: pleasant and sleek but expensive. The service was nice enough but a sparkling water will set you back 25 NOK and with their outrageous exchange rates that becomes more than 3 pounds! If you don't mind sitting at the back of the plane, row 25 (which is only on the left-hand side) has only two seats between the aisle and window rather than the standard three. Consequently, despite a slight narrowing of the fuselage at the rear, there is a nice bit of space along-side the window seat. Like most European flights, there is no entertainment system. That is a down-side compared to the competition (Norwegian Air Shuttle), which is in the process of implementing free wifi throughout its fleet
