Economy Class

On flight from Seattle, Washington to Copenhagen our luggage did not arrive. There was a mechanical problem in Seattle and the airline needed to rebook 30 passengers to other flights. Probably our luggage was put on another flight. In Copenhagen we filed a delayed baggage report. We followed up for three days with phone calls and email. It became apparent that Icelandair does not answer the phone or respond to emails for such matters. On the 5th day without a change of clothes we started buying replacements. Unfortunately, my bag contained an essential medical supply. Icelandair was informed of this need with no response. It would appear that the corporate culture is one of they don't care, as the very least that they could do would be to respond to our inquiry and advise that the luggage is lost.
