If you are asked by a partner airline to switch to Lufthansa, avoid at all costs. I had a business class ticket, am handicapped, and ended up being treated like a second class passenger. In fact I was checked in as an economy passenger and was told I should be GRATEFUL to Lufthansa for being "bumped up" to business, and next time should fly another airline. Three minutes before boarding the gate received a call stating I was INDEED a business class passenger, hearing that the same rep told me I should file a complaint. I was denied access to a cart to take me to the flght. The long walk with canes was very difficult. I ended up losing 4,126 aeroplan miles, towards my status as well. The on board crew was very nice service was good, but the experience has left me thinking if I will use Lufthansa
