MN to Vegas- Arrival to Vegas was an A319, departure out of Vegas was an A320. I was hesitant going with a small carrier such as Spirit but I was pleasantly surprised both going to Vegas and coming back. I only see one good review and I'm with that guy. He has Spirit spot on. Do your homework, know what this airline is about, and you'll be fine. They pride themselves on bottom dollar air fair, what should you expect. The only extra charge we decided on was the larger seating area at the front of the plane. Very worth it. In my opinion, Spirit is just as good, if not better than the large carriers, but for much cheaper. I'm all for that. I find it funny when reviewers blame the airline for missing plane and whatnot when they show up less than an hour before the flight. ALL airlines suggest getting to the airport 2 hrs before hand. Two hours people! That means at a minimum (depending on airport). This isn't about you, and your decision to show up when you want. They suggest this for a reason. Airlines are no different than buses, taxi etc. Their purpose is to get you from point A to point B. Not to kiss your behind and treat you like a prince/princess.
