I checked online how to cancel a flight and I also checked the cost at https://customersupport.spirit.com/hc/en-us/articles/202097076-How-can-I-change-or-cancel-my-reservation- At that sight it is clearly published that "Modification or Cancellation made within 24 hours of original booking." for "Reservations made less than 7 days (168 hours) before scheduled departure date. " was "Reservations / Airport Modification or Cancellation $100" I called to cancel my flight and was told there was no refund because the flight was within 24 hours. After discussing it with the reservation center I agreed to the credit instead of a refund. I asked someone to book a flight utilizing the credit. To my surprise, she was not able to utilize the credit as only the booker is allowed to utilize the credit. This information is not published ANYWHERE. There is also no mention in any published policy (see https://www.spirit.com/content/documents/en-us/General_Terms_and_Conditions.pdf pg 8)
