My husband & I had bad experiences with PAL in the past (It was also brought to PAL's attention). A Boracay trip package deal was offered to us last month & I thought tried them one more time, that maybe they're better than last year. It was the biggest mistake decisions we ever made in our travel history. Kalibo airport don't have flight signage for flights and has poor anouncement speaker. We expected PAL staff to at least check the flight of their passengers thoroughly when boarding making sure their passengers got in to the right plane before they let them pass the gate. They let us pass the gate, boarded and seated in the wrong plane. If the other couple didn't claim the seat that we are seated, we could have left Kalibo on the wrong flight. Staff on the plane told us it was the ground crew's mistake and to speak to the manager. All she could say was, so sorry it was a "security breach" mistake on our part. Again, told ourselves, there's no point of complaining, this is PAL. They don't care nor do or change a thing. Just learned our lesson whether short or long haul flight, they have incompetent & inexperience crews and never to try or fly with PAL ever again!!!!
