My family flew from Denver to Tampa, this past week for Thanksgiving. On our trip there was a women with two children, one an infant and the other 3 years old. Frontier placed the 3 year old in a seat that was far away from the mother. This flight wasn't full and plenty of empty seats, why they placed the child so far away, we had no clue. My husband, gave up his seat for the mother of two so, she could stay with her children. The exit row was one row up, with only one gentleman sitting in the whole row so, my husband sat there. The flight attendant told my husband that if he sat there he will be charged. My husband explained the situation. She explained that everyone needs to sit in their assigned seat or he needs pay the up charge. My husband didn't want that child to seat away from her mother so, he paid the up charge of $40.00 to seat in the exit row. The then comes back and informs my husband that she gave him a discount of $10.00 since he was so nice to the mother and her children. We were so disappointed by this airline. Other airlines such as United, Delta, and American would NEVER charge someone for helping another person out. We will NEVER be flying with Frontier again.
