I have flown with Cathay a few years ago, but from my recent trip (Brisbane via Hong Kong to London and return) it would appear standards have slipped. Economy is really cattle class on Cathay. Poor service (or no service) from grumpy, irritable staff, dirty toilets, bland inedible food. I will not travel with Cathay again. I will also not fly through Hong Kong which is a disaster. EDITORS COMMENT: There are some mixed reviews coming in at the moment. hopefully they sort it out as they are an excellent and most importantly safe airline
