Cathay Pacific review by Rasheed 2015-06-01

My experience with Cathay Pacific in the past was good, that's why I decided to take London to Sydney return via Hong Kong, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. The leg room in economy is so compact, not worthy for long haul flights. We had one leg of flight around 9 hours+ and another 12 hours+ and both served ordinary food. Infact the first leg from London to Hong Kong was made me want to jump off the plane. The staff at Heathrow providing the boarding pass was rude and not helpful at all. The in flight meals have really taken a nose dip. But I must admit, the in flight entertainment system was excellent. It was one of the best I have ever seen and I have flown a lot. Also, the luggage policy is 20 KG per passenger. I didn't need more than this but considering long haul flights, others offer more, so it would help other passengers if it is made 30 KG to match other carriers. I feel the price I paid was not worth the experience and I really hope Cathay Pacific can improve their service like good old days.
