Basically, even though a decent airline, the economy coach baggage allowance of 23kg per luggage piece is simply unreasonably low for international travel. A minimum of 32kg is standard, and the least amount a traveler should be forced to comply with. Had I known Singapore Airlines had such a useless baggage policy, I would have booked my fare on another airline. The kg overages for zone 3 travel are 16$USD PER KILOGRAM. This is an exorbitant and unreasonable rate versus fuel costs. In future I will not be booking any travel on Singapore Airlines. That's not called customer service; it's called extortion.
