I had such a terrible experience with Delta. My flight was moved from gate time gate for 6 hours and then finally canceled without any of the passengers being notified. We all found out through word of mouth because the staff wouldn't give us answers. What bothered everyone was how poorly the staff handled the situation. There were hundreds of Delta passengers stranded in an airport on Christmas eve and not one of the delta staff apologized or empathized with the passengers. They were incredibly defensive and ineffective and threatened to get passengers kicked out of airport when they were justifiably upset. The customer service line to rebook flights had ONE attendant in it while the line had a hundred passengers who had to wait for hours for service. No one was offered an apology or even a good voucher... nothing. I've never been treated this poorly and callously by an airline and will never fly delta again. Delta needs to takes more integrity in its customer relations.
