Economy Class

We were going to fly from St. Louis to Seattle on July 29th. We got to airport with flight checked in, boarding passes printed, checked bags paid. When we got to check in area, we were told they cannot check our bags, and we are late for the flight. We said fine, we will pay to carry them on, they are carry-on bags, and we know we can pay at the gate. They kept our boarding passes, and REFUSED to give back. After talking to them for about 10 min, they said we were going to get refunded. We confirmed with them, and were told "Yes, you will get refunded automatically in 7-10 business days". Under the impression we're getting refunded, we bought tickets from another airline for 2200 dollars. Now it's been more than 15 business days, didn't get refund, when calling customer service, they hung up on us, implied we're liars, denying the whole thing. We fully understand, if we miss a flight because we show up late, it's our fault. The airline has NO right to take our boarding passes and basically VOID them. And then lies after lies. We're very disappointed in Frontier, preparing a law suit.
